अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
वेदाख्याने श्रुति: कार्या त्वया मतिमतां वर । तस्मात् कुरु यथा5ज्ञप्तं ममैतद् वचन मुने
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
vedākhyāne śrutiḥ kāryā tvayā matimatāṁ vara |
tasmāt kuru yathājñaptaṁ mamaitad vacanaṁ mune ||
毗湿摩波耶那说：“噢，智者之最！为阐释吠陀，你当汇集并编排诸启示之典（śruti）——《梨俱》（Ṛk）、《娑摩》（Sāman）、《夜柔》（Yajus）及其余诸部——各自分列。故而，圣者啊，务必依我所命，如法而行。这便是我对你的谕令。”
