रूपाण्यनेकान्यसृजत्‌ प्रादुर्भावे भवाय स: । वाराहं नारसिंहं च वामनं मानुषं तथा

Transliteration

rūpāṇy anekāny asṛjat prādurbhāve bhavāya saḥ | vārāhaṃ nārasiṃhaṃ ca vāmanaṃ mānuṣaṃ tathā ||

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：为世间之安宁，在显现之时，祂化现无数形相——如野猪身、人与狮合一之身、侏儒身，亦复现人身——皆随所需而出，以扶持正法、护佑众生。
