आराध्य तपसोग्रेण देवं हयशिरोधरम् । पज्चालेन क्रम: प्राप्तो देवेन पथि देशिते
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca |
ārādhya tapasogreṇa devaṃ hayaśirodharam |
pañcālena kramaḥ prāpto devena pathi deśite ||
毗耶娑之弟子毗舍摩波耶那说道：般遮罗国的圣者伽罗婆，以猛烈苦行礼敬马首之神——海耶格利瓦——循着神亲自指示之道，得到了诸吠陀的次第编排与正统分判。
