निष्कल्मषेण सत्त्वेन सम्पन्न रुचिरप्रभम्‌ | त॑ दृष्टवा दानवेन्द्री तो महाहासममुख्चताम्‌

vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | niṣkalmaṣeṇa sattvena sampannaṃ ruciraprabham | taṃ dṛṣṭvā dānavendrī tau mahāhāsam amuñcatām |

毗舍婆耶那说道:“他以无垢之萨埵(sattva)为体,光辉美妙而灿然。二位达那婆之主见到他,便放出大笑,尽是讥诮。”(在相邻叙事中,那罗延被描写为卧于由舍沙之身所成的榻上,炽然如被火焰花鬘所缠;达那婆二王见那安然、萨埵清净之主,遂以轻蔑相待。)
