बभूवान्तर्महीभूत: सर्वभूतगुणोदित: । नाद और स्वरसे विशिष्ट सामगानकी वह सर्वथा स्निग्ध एवं मधुर ध्वनि रसातलमें सब ओर फैल गयी, जो समस्त प्राणियोंके लिये गुणकारक थी

Transliteration

babhūvāntarmahībhūtaḥ sarvabhūtaguṇoditaḥ | nādaḥ svararase viśiṣṭaḥ sāmagānasya saḥ sarvathā snigdhaḥ madhuraś ca dhvaniḥ rasātale sarvato vyāptaḥ, yaḥ samasta-prāṇināṃ guṇakārakaḥ |

Translation

毗舍摩波耶那说：仿佛从大地内部升起一阵声音，具足能利益一切众生的德性。其音色与旋律之美尤为出众，宛如《娑曼》（Sāman）之歌，柔和而甘美。那回响的乐声在罗娑多罗四方流布，使诸有情皆得提升与净化。
