नागैः सह ब्राह्मणस्य अतिथिधर्म-व्रतसंवादः | The Brahmin’s Vow and the Nāgas’ Hospitality Appeal
ये तु तस्यैव देवस्य प्रादुर्भावा: सुरप्रिया: । भविष्यन्ति त्रिलोकस्थास्तेषां स्वतीत्यथो द्विज
ye tu tasyaiva devasya prādurbhāvāḥ surapriyāḥ | bhaviṣyanti trilokasthās teṣāṃ svatīty atho dvija | āvāśabhyām api dṛṣṭas tvaṃ śvetadvīpe tapodhana | samāgato bhagavatā saṃjalpaṃ kṛtavāṃs tathā dvijottama |
那罗陀说道:“噢,婆罗门啊,正是那位神自身的诸般示现——为诸天所爱——将于三界出现并行化者:噢,苦行之藏,我们二人也曾在白岛(Śvetadvīpa)见到你。你在那里觐见有福之主,并与之对谈,噢,最胜婆罗门。此事我们尽皆知晓。大牟尼啊,三界之中,连同一切动与不动的众生,凡已发生、正在发生、将要发生的吉凶之事——当时诸神之神、圣者哈利(Śrī Hari)都已对你宣说。”
नारद उवाच
The verse emphasizes the Lord’s comprehensive knowledge and governance of cosmic events—past, present, and future—across all beings and realms, and presents divine manifestation (prādurbhāva) as purposeful appearances within the world-order that sages can witness and receive as revelation.
Nārada reminds a brahmin-sage that he was seen in Śvetadvīpa meeting and conversing with Śrī Hari. Nārada asserts that the Lord disclosed to the sage the full scope of auspicious and inauspicious happenings across the three worlds, including what will occur through the Lord’s future manifestations.
