Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī

The verse highlights a complete instruction in Dharma framed as knowledge of the kṣetrajña—the inner knower or conscious witness—implying that ethical life is grounded in understanding the self beyond the changing ‘field’ (body, mind, and experience).
Nārada reports that a revered teacher previously instructed him fully: explaining Dharma, clarifying the doctrine of the kṣetrajña, and also foretelling future manifestations (prādurbhāvas) and how they will unfold in the world.
