Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)

(नाम्नां निरुक्तं वक्ष्यामि शृणुष्वैकाग्रमानस: ।) बोधनात्‌ तापनाच्चैव जगतो हर्षणं भवेत्‌ । अग्नीषोमकृतैरेभि: कर्मभि: पाण्डुनन्दन | हृषीकेशो5हमीशानो वरदो लोकभावन:

nāmnāṃ niruktaṃ vakṣyāmi śṛṇuṣvaikāgramānasaḥ | bodhanāt tāpanāccaiva jagato harṣaṇaṃ bhavet | agnīṣomakṛtairebhiḥ karmabhiḥ pāṇḍunandana | hṛṣīkeśo 'ham īśāno varado lokabhāvanaḥ ||

“我将阐明我诸名之语源;汝当一心谛听。月与日既能唤醒世界,亦能使之温热,故成为欢悦之源。噢般度之子,凭借由阿耆尼与苏摩所施行的这些功用,我——护持世间之主、赐福之君——被称为‘赫利希凯沙’(Hṛṣīkeśa)。”
