स मन: सर्वभूतानां प्रद्युम्न: परिपठ्यते । “जो उसी संकर्षण अथवा जीवसे उत्पन्न होकर अपने कर्म (ध्यान
sa manaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ pradyumnaḥ paripaṭhyate |
毗湿摩说:那作为一切众生之“心”的原理,依传统诵读并理解为“普拉丢姆那”(Pradyumna)。在此教义中,普拉丢姆那象征宇宙之心,万类终将归融消散于其中;若行者使自身行为——如禅修与礼拜——与那至上本源相应,便被说能在现世即证得如“善那特库玛罗”(Sanatkumāra)般的解脱境界。
भीष्म उवाच
The verse identifies Pradyumna with the universal mind (manaḥ) that pervades all beings; ethically, it points to inner discipline—especially meditation and worship—as a means to align the individual mind with its cosmic source and move toward liberation.
In the Śānti Parva’s instruction section, Bhīṣma is explaining a theological-philosophical mapping of divine principles; here he states that Pradyumna is the name used for the mind of all beings, framing a contemplative doctrine rather than an external event.
