भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights that even exalted celestial and perfected beings participate in reverent worship of the Supreme (here, Maheśvara/Śiva). Ethically, it reinforces humility and devotion as universal virtues that transcend status, power, or attainment.
Bhīṣma enumerates members of a grand divine assembly—Aśvins, Gandharvas, sages like Nārada and Parvata, Viśvāvasu, Siddhas, and Apsarases—who are present in the context of honoring and worshipping Mahādeva, emphasizing the magnitude and sanctity of the occasion.
