वेदवादांस्तथा चित्रानृतूनां पर्ययांस्तथा । क्षयं संवत्सराणां च मासानां च क्षयं तथा
vedavādāṁs tathā citrān ṛtūnāṁ paryayāṁs tathā | kṣayaṁ saṁvatsarāṇāṁ ca māsānāṁ ca kṣayaṁ tathā ||
毗湿摩说道：“亦当省思《吠陀》中繁多而奇妙的言辞，省思四时的更替，省思时光无休无止的流逝——无论岁年抑或月分。见万物迁变而衰落，当以清明与坚定之心，决断自身之本分（达摩）。”
