नानाशास्त्रेषु निष्पन्नं योगेष्विदमुदाह्तम्‌ । परं योगस्य यत्‌ कृत्यं निश्चितं तद्‌ द्विजातिषु

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | nānāśāstreṣu niṣpannaṃ yogeṣv idam udāhṛtam | paraṃ yogasya yat kṛtyaṃ niścitaṃ tad dvijātiṣu ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“关于瑜伽之道，诸多论典所确立者，我已在此宣说。瑜伽的至上职责——那些被明确规定的修持——被制定给‘再生者’（dvija，二次出生者）；也就是说，人们认为他们具备正当的资格来承当此道。”
