अध्याय २८६ — पराशर-उपदेशः
Ethical Restraint, Mortality, and Karma
विहितेनैव जीवन्ति अरोगाड़ा दिवौकस: । बलवन्तोडबलाश्वैव तस्मादस्मान् सभाजय
vihitenaiva jīvanti arogā divaukasaḥ | balavanto ’balāś caiva tasmād asmān sabhājaya ||
萨摩陀说道：“诸天虽无疾病，亦唯依既定之命而生；强者与弱者同样凭此安排维系性命。故亦当敬重我等：我等亦倚赖宿命，不自作主张而轻启诸行——莫以为我等只是懒惰无为，遂加轻蔑。”
