अध्याय २८६ — पराशर-उपदेशः
Ethical Restraint, Mortality, and Karma
अगाधाश्षाप्रतिष्ठाक्ष॒ गतिमन्तश्ष नारद । अन्धा जडाशक्ष जीवन्ति पश्यास्मानपि जीवत:
agādhāḥ apratiṣṭhāś ca gatimantaś ca nārada | andhā jaḍāś ca jīvanti paśyāsmān api jīvataḥ ||
“那罗陀啊，即便有人沉溺于无底的迷乱之中，毫无立足之处，却仍被驱使向前——纵然盲昧愚钝——也尚能在世间存活。你且看我们：同样如此，我们也在活着。”
