जब ब्रह्माजीने इस प्रकार कहा और यज्ञमें भाग मिलनेकी भी व्यवस्था हो गयी, तब महादेवजी अमिततेजस्वी भगवान् ब्रह्मासे इस प्रकार बोले--“तथास्तु' ऐसा ही हो ।।
tathāstu—ity evaṃ bhavatu. parāṃ ca prītim agamad utsmayan caiva pinākadhṛk | avāpa ca tadā bhāgaṃ yathoktaṃ brahmaṇā bhavaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“当梵天如此言毕，并且也安排了在祭祀（yajña）中分给其应得之分时，光辉无量的摩诃提婆对梵天说道：‘如是成就；就当如此。’于是，执持毗那迦神弓者含笑，心生极深欢悦；而婆伐（湿婆）也在那时，依梵天所宣定者，领受了祭分。”
