prīte tu tvayi dharmajña sarvalokeśvara prabho | śakrād apagamiṣyāmi nivāsaṃ saṃvidhatsva me ||
The verse highlights deference to rightful authority and the ethical posture of humility: when a superior is pleased, one should act without arrogance, withdraw from contested privilege, and seek a proper, sanctioned place to dwell—aligning personal conduct with dharma and social order.
The speaker addresses a supreme lordly figure as a ‘knower of dharma’ and ‘lord of all worlds,’ stating that, upon receiving favor, they will leave Indra (Śakra) and request that a suitable residence be arranged for them.
