परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269
एवमेव ब्रह्माचारी शुश्रूषुर्घोरनिश्वय: । एवं युक्तो ब्राह्मण: स्यादन्यो ब्राह्मणको भवेत्
evam eva brahmacārī śuśrūṣur ghoraniścayaḥ | evaṁ yukto brāhmaṇaḥ syād anyo brāhmaṇako bhavet ||
同样，唯有那位梵行者，专心侍奉师长，志愿严峻而坚定，并以瑜伽自律者，方成真正的婆罗门。若不如此者，当视为下等婆罗门——或仅有其名的婆罗门。
