Determination of the Means to Liberation

तत्त्वाभेदेन यच्छास्त्रं तत्‌ कार्य नान्यथाविधम्‌ | असमीक्ष्यैव कर्माणि नीतिशास्त्रं यथाविधि

Transliteration

tattvābhedena yacchāstraṃ tat kāryaṃ nānyathāvidham | asamīkṣyaiva karmāṇi nītiśāstraṃ yathāvidhi ||

Translation

丢摩蹉那说道：“那部依真实原则（即实相与正行之理）而制定治国之策与刑罚的论典，应当完全依其所定而施行，不可另作他法。若不细察（罪人之）所作所为，又不依所传之政道之学加以深思，便不可施以违背法度的刑罚。”
