कपिलगोसंवादे गृहस्थ-त्यागधर्मयोः प्रमाण्यविचारः

स चिन्तयामास मुनिर्जलवासे कदाचन । विप्रेक्ष्य सागरान्तां वै महीं सवनकाननाम्
sa cintayāmāsa munir jalavāse kadācana | viprekṣya sāgarāntāṃ vai mahīṃ savanakānanām ||
毗湿摩说道：有一次，圣者居于海滨水泽之地时，心中深深思惟。既已巡观大地直至海之尽处——并其林薮与丛莽——他便开始思索世间生命之旨与行止之道，为探求正当生活之法而发起道德之问。
