प्रजा: सृष्टवा महातेजा: प्रजासगे पितामह: । अतीव वृद्धा बहुला नामृष्यत पुनः प्रजा:

Transliteration

prajāḥ sṛṣṭvā mahātejāḥ prajāsarge pitāmahaḥ | atīva vṛddhā bahulā nāmṛṣyata punaḥ prajāḥ ||

Translation

那罗陀说：祖父梵天光辉炽盛，既已创造众生，却见在创造之际，生类繁衍得极其浩大而稠密。众生之数过于盈溢，令他难以承受，于是他重新思量：造化当如何继续，方能持久而有序。
