महाभूत–इन्द्रिय–मनस्–बुद्धि–अन्तरात्मा विवेकः | Discrimination of Elements, Senses, Mind, Intellect, and Inner Self

अफालकुष् व्रीहियवं नीवारं विघसानि च । हवींषि सम्प्रयच्छेत मखेष्वत्रापि पजचसु

Vyāsa uvāca — aphāla-kṛṣṭaṁ vrīhi-yavaṁ nīvāraṁ vighasāni ca | havīṁṣi samprayaccheta makheṣv atrāpi pañcasu ||

毗耶娑说道:“林居圣者当以未耕之地所生的稻与麦、以野谷(nīvāra),以及供养宾客之后所余之食自养。即便处于林栖之期,也应如法在每日五大祭(pañca-mahāyajña)中奉献并分施所规定的供品(havis)。因此,出离并非怠惰:生计之简朴,与对诸神、祖灵、众生与宾客不绝之责任相连。”
