Vānaprastha-vṛtti and the Transition toward the Fourth Āśrama (वानप्रस्थवृत्तिः चतुर्थाश्रमोपक्रमश्च)
यदि वा सर्ववेदज्ञो यदि वाप्यनूचो द्विज: । यदि वा धार्मिको यज्वा यदि वा पापकृत्तम:
yadi vā sarvavedajño yadi vāpy anūco dvijaḥ | yadi vā dhārmiko yajvā yadi vā pāpakṛttamaḥ |
毗耶娑说：无论此人通晓一切吠陀，或为“再生者”（二次生）却未受学；无论他正直而勤于祭祀，或甚至为罪恶最甚之人——只要他以亲证之智真正了悟这十二种瑜伽，便能越过那极难渡越的老死之海。
