प्रलय-प्रक्रिया (Pralaya Process) — Guṇa-Withdrawal and Pratisaṃcara
भूमिरेव मनुष्येषु धारिणी भूतभाविनी । सा ते पादं तितिक्षेत समर्था हीति मे मति:
bhūmir eva manuṣyeṣu dhāriṇī bhūta-bhāvinī | sā te pādaṃ titikṣeta samarthā hīti me matiḥ ||
释迦罗说道:“在人间,唯有大地——承载万有、孕育众生者——支撑着一切。在我看来,她完全能够承受你足下的重量。”
शक्र उवाच
The verse highlights the Earth as the archetype of endurance and universal support: she bears all beings and can withstand even heavy burdens. Ethically, it points to the virtue of titikṣā (forbearance) and the ideal of sustaining others without resentment.
Śakra (Indra) reassures the listener that the Earth—described as the bearer and originator of beings—is strong enough to tolerate the pressure of a footstep. The statement functions as a reflective, instructive remark emphasizing Earth’s capacity and the model of patient endurance.
