तदद्य विनिवृत्तं मे प्रभुत्वममराधिप । कालसैन्यावगाढस्य सर्व न प्रतिभाति मे

Transliteration

tad adya vinivṛttaṃ me prabhutvam amarādhipa | kālasainyāvagāḍhasya sarvaṃ na pratibhāti me ||

Translation

今日我的王权已然终结，噢，不死者之主！我被时间（迦罗，kāla）之军所侵袭、所吞没，往昔的一切光辉于我眼前再不显现。此言使神力亦归于道德与形上之律：时间制服一切有条件的权柄，劝人谦卑，并从对统治与支配的执著中解脱。
