सूच्या सूत्र यथा वस्त्रे संसारयति वायक: । तद्वत् संसारसूत्र हि तृष्णासूच्या निबद्धयते
sūcyā sūtraṃ yathā vastre saṃsārayati vāyakaḥ | tadvat saṃsārasūtraṃ hi tṛṣṇāsūcyā nibaddhyate ||
毗湿摩说道：“譬如织工以针引线，使纱线穿行于布帛之中；同样，世间生存之‘线’乃由贪爱之针所系缚、所织就。正是欲爱把众生缝入轮回（saṃsāra），使反复生死与苦的织物不断不绝。”
