Svapna–Manas–Guṇa–Brahma-vicāra
पृथिवीमार्तरूपां ते समपश्यन् दिवौकस: । दानवैरभिसंस्तीर्णा घोररूपैर्महाबलै:,समूचे भूमण्डलमें भयानक रूपधारी महाबली दानव फैल गये थे। देवताओंने देखा, यह पृथ्वी दानवोंके पापभारसे पीड़ित एवं आर्त हो उठी है
pṛthivīm ārta-rūpāṃ te samapaśyan divaukasaḥ | dānavair abhisaṃstīrṇā ghorarūpair mahābalaiḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“诸天看见大地本身仿佛被痛苦所击中。遍满整个世界之轮，她被形貌可怖、力大无穷的达那婆所占据、所散布；大地因承受他们罪业的重负而显得受压受苦——这正昭示着一场道德危机，呼唤着达摩的复兴。”
