Manu’s Instruction
सवनिव तु राजर्षि: सम्पूज्याथ प्रणम्प च | कुशलप्रश्नमकरोत् सर्वेषां राजसत्तम:,नृपश्रेष्ठ राजर्षि इक्ष्वाकुने उन सबको प्रणाम करके उनकी पूजा की और उन सबका कुशल-समाचार पूछा
sa nṛpo rājaṛṣiḥ sampūjya atha praṇamya ca | kuśalapraśnam akarot sarveṣāṃ rājasattamaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：于是那位国王——身为王仙（rājarsi），亦为诸王之最——先以应有的礼敬供养并恭敬致礼，随后才询问众人安康与否；他以谦卑、敬重与关怀他人福祉，守持了王者之道的伦理仪范。
