Subtle Dharma and the Primacy of Renunciation
इसके सिवा जो दक्षिण मार्ग है, जिसे प्रकाशपूर्ण बताया गया है, वहाँ जो लोक हैं, वे सकाम कर्म करनेवाले उन गृहस्थोंके लिये हैं, जो श्मशान-भूमिका सेवन करते हैं (जन्म- मरणके चक््करमें पड़े रहते हैं) ।।
anirdeśyā gatiḥ sā tu yāṃ prapaśyanti mokṣiṇaḥ | tasmād yogaḥ pradhāneṣṭaḥ sa tu duḥkhaṃ pravedayitum ||
尤提希提罗说道:“求解脱者亲证之境,不可言诠。故而瑜伽——此处指解脱之智与内证之修持——被视为诸法门中最为首要、最为可欲者;然而要以言辞尽显其体性,实在艰难至极。”
युधिछिर उवाच
Liberation is a direct realization that cannot be fully captured by language; therefore the inner discipline of yoga—especially knowledge-oriented realization—is regarded as the highest means, though it is difficult to articulate and grasp conceptually.
In the Śānti Parva’s reflective dialogue, Yudhiṣṭhira speaks about the nature of the liberative goal and the superiority of the yogic path, contrasting describable worldly destinations with the indescribable realization known to those pursuing mokṣa.
