On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
असिना धर्मगर्भेण पालयस्व प्रजा इति । तलवार देकर उन्होंने मनुसे कहा--“तुम मनुष्योंके शासक हो; अतः इस धर्मगर्भित खड्गसे प्रजाका पालन करो || ६८ $ || धर्मसेतुमतिक्रान्ता: स्थूलसूक्ष्मात्मकारणात्
asina dharmagarbheṇa pālayasva prajā iti |
毗湿摩说：“以此剑——蕴含法（dharma）之力——护持众民。”于是他们将利刃交付摩奴，并告诫他：王者之权不为一己之欲，乃为公正守护臣民。凡为取悦粗身或微细之我而逾越法之界限者，当以相称而有别的刑罚加以约束；护民之事皆须依于法，不得任性偏私。
