कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
शरणं यामि यान्यस्मिन् दैवतानि वनस्पतौ । इसके बाद उसने उस वृक्षके नीचे ही रातभर रहनेका निश्चय किया। फिर हाथ जोड़ प्रणाम करके उस वनस्पतिसे कहा--“इस वृक्षपर जो-जो देवता हों, उन सबकी मैं शरण लेता हूँ
śaraṇaṃ yāmi yāny asmin daivatāni vanaspatau |
毗湿摩说：“我归依此树中所居的一切神祇。”他合掌致敬于树下，并决意整夜栖身其荫，托付自身于人们所信奉的、寄寓其间的神圣临在之护佑——此举体现了谦卑与信心，也彰显了将自然敬为承载神性的伦理。
