नासम्यक्‌ कृतकारी स्यादप्रमत्त: सदा भवेत्‌ | कण्टको<पि हि दुश्छिन्नो विकारं कुरुते चिरम्‌

Transliteration

nāsamyak kṛtakārī syād apramattaḥ sadā bhavet | kaṇṭako 'pi hi duśchinnaḥ vikāraṃ kurute ciram ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：不可将事情草草而止，未善成便弃之；亦当时时警醒。因为即便是一根刺，若拔除不净，仍留碎片于体内，也会长久引发病变与纷扰。此教诲劝人行事周全、持久谨慎：疏忽的微末残留，终能滋长为经年的祸患。
