दैवं पुरुषकारश्न स्थितावन्योन्यसंश्रयात्‌ । उदाराणां तु सत्कर्म दैवं क्लीबा उपासते

Transliteration

daivaṁ puruṣakāraś ca sthitāv anyonya-saṁśrayāt | udārāṇāṁ tu satkarma daivaṁ klībā upāsate ||

Translation

梵摩达多说道：天命（神圣的安排）与人的努力，唯有彼此倚赖方能成立。然而胸怀高贵者恒常行持正业善行；软弱无刚者却只知膜拜天命，把它当作借口，依赖其上而不肯善行。
