Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
अन्योन्यकृतवैराणां न संधिरुपपद्यते । स च हेतुरतिक्रान्तो यदर्थमहमावसम्,जब आपस में वैर हो जाय, तब संधि करना ठीक नहीं होता। मैं अबतक जिस उद्देश्यसे यहाँ रही हूँ, वह तो समाप्त हो गया
anyonyakṛtavairāṇāṃ na sandhir upapadyate | sa ca hetur atikrānto yadartham aham āvasam ||
梵摩达多说道:“彼此结为仇敌之人之间,真正的和解并不可得。而我至今留在此处的缘由,也已然过去了。”
ब्रह्मदत्त उवाच
When hostility has become mutual and entrenched, a genuine and stable peace is difficult to establish; one should recognize when the original motive for staying engaged has ended and act accordingly.
Brahmadatta declares that reconciliation is no longer workable because mutual enmity has solidified, and he notes that the purpose that kept him present has now been fulfilled or has ceased.
