न त्वन्यामिह मार्जाराद्‌ गतिं पश्यामि साम्प्रतम्‌ । विषमस्थो हायं शत्रु: कृत्यं चास्य महन्मया

Transliteration

na tv anyām iha mārjārād gatiṁ paśyāmi sāmpratam | viṣamastho hāyaṁ śatruḥ kṛtyaṁ cāsya mahan mayā ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“此时此刻，我看不出自己还有别的路，唯有倚赖这只猫。虽说它确是我的死敌，但眼下它自身也陷入重大的困境；而借由我，也能为它成就一桩大恩。”
