पुत्रान्‌ भ्रातृन्‌ निगृह्नन्तो विनयन्तश्न तान्‌ सदा । विनीतांश्व प्रगृह्नन्तो विवर्धन्ते गणोत्तमा:

Transliteration

putrān bhrātṝn nigṛhṇanto vinayantaś ca tān sadā | vinītāṁś ca pragṛhṇanto vivardhante gaṇottamāḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩说：即便是自己的儿子与兄弟，若走上邪路，这些最卓越的领袖也会加以约束并施以惩戒，且不断教以正当的纪律；待其受教成器之后，又以极大的尊重接纳并扶持他们。因此，这样的领袖获得非凡的兴盛与增长。
