Nīti-upadeśa to a Rājaputra: Self-restraint, Alliances, and Rival-Management (नीतिउपदेशः)
अलभ्या ये शुभा भावा: स्त्रियश्चवाच्छादनानि च । शय्यासनानि यानानि महाहाणि गृहाणि च
alabhyā ye śubhā bhāvāḥ striyaś ca vācchādanāni ca | śayyāsanāni yānāni mahāhāṇi gṛhāṇi ca ||
毗湿摩说道：“那些难以得取而又吉祥可欲的享乐——女子、华美的衣饰以供遮蔽装点、床榻座具、车乘、以及昂贵的宅第——正是用来缠住敌人的网罗。若助长他对这些奢华之物的贪恋，他的资财便会渐渐耗尽，终将自取败亡。”
