ऋषिसमागमः — युधिष्ठिरस्य शोकवर्णनम्

स ज्येष्ठपुत्र: कुन्त्या वै भ्रातास्माकं च मातृज: । नारदजी! मेरी माता कुन्तीने कर्णको जन्मके पश्चात्‌ एक पेटीमें रखकर गड़ाजीकी धारामें बहाया था। जिन्हें यह सारा संसार अबतक अधिरथ सूत एवं राधाका पुत्र समझता था

sa jyeṣṭhaputraḥ kuntyā vai bhrātāsmākaṃ ca mātṛjaḥ |

尤狄施提罗说道:“他确是昆蒂的长子——与我们同母所生,因此是我们的亲兄弟。噢,那罗陀!母亲昆蒂生下迦尔纳后,将婴儿置于箱中,任其随河流漂去。世人久以为他是车夫阿提罗陀与罗陀之子;而真相是:他乃昆蒂的首生子,也是我们的同母兄弟。”
