कार्त्तिकेयाभिषेकः — Consecration of Kārttikeya and the Enumeration of His Retinue
ततः कुमारमादाय देवा ब्रह्मपुरोगमा: । अभिषेकार्थमाजम्मु: शैलेन्द्रं सहितास्तत:
tataḥ kumāram ādāya devā brahmapurogamāḥ | abhiṣekārtham ājagmuḥ śailendraṃ sahitās tataḥ ||
于是诸天在梵天率领下,携那位少主同行,一同前往群山之主处,意欲为他举行灌顶加冕之礼(阿毗湿迦)。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Legitimate authority is portrayed as grounded in dharma and public-ritual validation: the prince’s elevation is not a private act but a consecration undertaken with the assent of the gods, symbolizing moral and cosmic approval.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that the gods, with Brahmā leading them, take a young prince and go together to the ‘lord of mountains’ to carry out his abhiṣeka (royal consecration/coronation).
