कुमाराभिषेकप्रश्नः — Inquiry into Kumāra (Skanda) Investiture at Sarasvatī
पितामहाय संतप्त एतमर्थ न्यवेदयत् । इस प्रकार उस मस्तकके द्वारा बारंबार पूर्वोक्त बात पूछी जानेपर अत्यन्त संतप्त हुए इन्द्रने ब्रह्माजीसे यह सारा समाचार निवेदन किया
pitāmahāya saṁtāpta etam arthaṁ nyavedayat | itthaṁ tasmin mastakena bāraṁbāraṁ pūrvokta-vākyam pṛṣṭe'tyanta-saṁtāpta indreṇa brahmaṇe idaṁ sarvaṁ samācāraṁ niveditam |
毗湿摩波耶那说：因陀罗忧苦至极，便将此事禀告“祖父”梵天（Brahmā）。于是，当那被斩下的头颅一再就先前同一问题追问不休时，因陀罗——被痛苦压得喘不过气来——向梵天详陈始末，求取更高的裁断，并希冀卸下所作所为带来的道义重负。
