तपसा तु तथा युक्त विश्वामित्रं पितामह:

tapasā tu tathā yuktaṃ viśvāmitraṃ pitāmahaḥ

于是,祖父尊者(皮塔摩诃)见毗湿瓦密多如此具足苦行,便承认那由严谨苦修所生的威力——意在表明:灵性之努力若行之得法,足以使人的地位与效能超越凡常界限。
