Saptasārasvata-tīrtha-prasaṅgaḥ | The Saptasārasvata Pilgrimage Account and the Maṅkaṇaka Narrative
tasmād gandharvatīrthācca mahābāhur arindamaḥ
The verse highlights purposeful movement through sacred spaces: a warrior’s journey is not merely physical travel but a disciplined progression shaped by tīrthas, implying that power and conduct should remain anchored in sanctity and restraint.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that the hero described as “mighty-armed” and “subduer of enemies” departs from Gandharva-tīrtha and continues onward, serving as a connective step in the itinerary or sequence of events.
