सुयोधन किमर्थो5यमारम्भो<प्सु कृतस्त्वया । सर्व क्षत्रं घातयित्वा स्वकुलं च विशाम्पते

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | suyodhana kim artho ’yam ārambho ’psu kṛtas tvayā | sarva-kṣatraṁ ghātayitvā sva-kulaṁ ca viśāṁ-pate ||

Translation

三阇耶说道：“苏由陀那啊，你为何在水中开始这般举动？在你使整个刹帝利阶层乃至你自己的宗族尽遭毁灭之后，人民之主啊，如今你却藏身湖中，只求保全自身性命。起来吧，苏由陀那王，与我们一战！”
