गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
तथा पौलस्त्यतनयो रावणो नाम राक्षस: । रामेण निहतो राजन् सानुबन्ध: सहानुग:
tathā paulastyatanayo rāvaṇo nāma rākṣasaḥ | rāmeṇa nihato rājan sānubandhaḥ sahānugaḥ ||
同样，王啊，那名为罗波那的罗刹，出自普罗罗斯底耶一系，被罗摩所诛——连同其盟友、随从，以及一切与其事业相系相缠之人，尽在其内。此语昭示一条道德规律：当以傲慢与暴力追逐非法之道（adharma）时，其报应不止于一身，而将波及整个支撑的网络；而正义之力终将带来全面的清算与担当。
