गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
हिरण्यकशिपुश्चैव क्रिययैव निषूदितौ । वृत्रश्न निहतो राजन् क्रिययैव न संशय:
hiraṇyakaśipuś caiva kriyayaiva niṣūditau | vṛtraś ca nihato rājan kriyayaiva na saṁśayaḥ ||
希兰耶迦湿布亦唯因果断之行而被诛。弗利陀亦然，王啊，他也是仅凭行动而被杀——对此毫无疑问。此言所示：纵有神意参与，世间之果仍须以具体而有目的的努力来成就，非徒凭心念或言辞而已。
