अध्याय ३: कृपस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः
Kṛpa’s Counsel to Duryodhana
भीममभ्यद्रवन् संख्ये पतजड़ा इव पावकम् । उस समय अपने प्राणों और बन्धु-बान्धवोंका मोह छोड़कर रोष और आवेशमें भरे हुए पैदल सैनिक युद्धस्थलमें भीमसेनकी ओर उसी प्रकार दौड़े, जैसे पतंग चलती हुई अतापर टूट पड़ते हैं
bhīmam abhyadravan saṅkhye pataṅgā iva pāvakam |
三阇耶说道：在鏖战之中，他们直扑毗摩，犹如飞蛾被盲目的冲动牵引，投身烈焰。那时，这些步卒满腔愤怒与狂热，抛却对性命的顾惜，亦忘却对亲族的眷恋，便如扑火之虫一般，向毗摩塞那猛冲而去。
