Educational Q&A

Even amid political collapse and collective mourning, dharma expresses itself through compassion, steadiness, and right counsel: Vidura shelters Yuyutsu, acknowledges grief without denial, and directs him toward reconciliation and rightful allegiance with Yudhiṣṭhira.

Vidura meets Yuyutsu and brings him into the royal palace, which is echoing with the sorrowful cries of citizens and villagers. Vidura, tearful, tells Yuyutsu to rest for the night and to go to Yudhiṣṭhira early the next morning.
