संघातेनासन भ्रष्टैर श्वारोहैर्गतासुभि: । हया: परिपतन्ति सम शतशो5थ सहसत्रश:,शत्रुओंके आघातसे प्राणशून्य होकर आसनसे भ्रष्ट हुए अश्वारोहियोंके साथ सैकड़ों और हजारों घोड़े धराशायी होने लगे
saṅghātenāsanabhraṣṭair aśvārohīr gatāsubhiḥ | hayāḥ paripatanti sma śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||
三阇耶说道:在密集的冲击中,骑士们被成片击倒——气绝身亡,坠离鞍座;与他们一同倒下的,还有战马,先是成百,继而成千。此景昭示战争无情的势头:技艺与勇武被纯粹的暴力吞没,战争的代价以刹那熄灭的生命来衡量。
संजय उवाच

Sanjaya reports that due to heavy enemy blows, cavalry riders are killed and unseated, and horses collapse alongside them—so many that they fall in hundreds and thousands.
