शल्य–युधिष्ठिरयुद्धप्रारम्भः
Commencement of the Śalya–Yudhiṣṭhira Duel
तत्रापि सुमहद् युद्ध घोररूपं विशाम्पते । प्राणान् संत्यजतां युद्धे प्राणद्यूताभिदेवने
tatrāpi sumahad yuddhaṃ ghorarūpaṃ viśāmpate | prāṇān saṃtyajatāṃ yuddhe prāṇadyūtābhidevane ||
三阇耶说道：即便在那里，噢，民众之主，一场浩大而可怖的战斗也在翻涌——在那些抛却恋生之心的战士之间；他们踏入战场，仿佛走进以性命之息为赌注的赌局。此景将战争描绘为阴惨的“押注”，生灵在其中被押上、被夺去，纵使怀着决绝之志，也难掩其伦理上的恐怖。
