धिगस्तु कृतवर्माणं मां कृपं च महारथम्
dhig astu kṛtavarmāṇaṁ māṁ kṛpaṁ ca mahāratham
三阇耶说道：“可耻啊，克利多伐摩——也可耻于我——亦可耻于那位大车战士克利波！”在这道德反噬的一瞬，他谴责行凶者（并自责其身），以为此举违背武士之法、卑鄙不堪；夜间暴行之后，遂下严峻的伦理裁断。
