Duryodhana’s Final Condition, Lamentation, and the Night’s Report

克利波说道:“从前在他面前,成百的国王因惧而俯首。可如今,这位英雄却躺在战士之榻上,四周尽是食肉的禽兽。”
कृप उवाच
The verse highlights the impermanence of worldly power and the ethical horror of war: those once feared and honored can quickly become helpless bodies on the battlefield, exposed to indignity and decay.
Kṛpa laments the fallen warrior(s) after the night of slaughter, contrasting their former majesty—before whom many kings bowed—with their present state: lying on the battlefield, surrounded by scavengers.
